In celebration of St Patrick's Day coming up, we have an Irish themed bar menu today, half price Guinness, live music from Caracana and the rugby on later too ✨

Meet Kyle, our Sous Chef.

Kyle's been a wonderful addition to the team this year! He worked with Katie and Jack, our @beachhousefalmouth General Manager and Head Chef, a few years ago at Hooked On The Rocks - So, they were super excited to have him back and working in the team.

A Cornish boy through and through. Don't challenge him on whether the Cornish pasty or South American empanada came first... (The Cornish Pasty did, of course, for those wondering)

We asked Kyle a few questions ✨

What's your favourite drink on here? It has to be an old fashioned and a Speed Pils.

Favourite dish to cook or eat here? It has to be the whole sole with cafe de Paris butter - simple but so tasty.

Favourite foodie spot to hang out? It had to have been Hooked On The Rocks - I need to get over to @beachhousefalmouth and try Jack's menu!

We love working with local produce here at the pub.

New to feature on our bar menu is our Cornish Yarg and house made focaccia sandwich.

@cornish.yarg is a family run business and made only 10 minutes up the road from us.

Wrapped in handpicked nettles, it’s creamy and soft under the rind, and crumbly in the core. The cheese is matured for 4-6 weeks, with the edible nettle wrap imparting a delicate, mushroom taste and develops its unique bloody white appearance.

Piled high with heritage tomatoes and rocket, this sandwich is fresh and the perfect match with a pint of @lacunabrewingco

Expect sharing dishes like Goan shellfish curry, turmeric and ginger lamb chops from the grill and all the sides. From classic favourites to unique twists, all presented as sharing dishes for the table. £35 per person, including an arrival drink.
