Beaujolais Day

Every year on the third Thursday of November, France celebrates the arrival of its freshest red wine, Beaujolais Nouveau.
Traditionally, the day is celebrated with fireworks, music and festivities as people toast the release of the year’s first bottles from the Beaujolais region. The wine itself is young, fruity and fresh, made to be enjoyed immediately rather than aged – perfect for relaxed celebrations with friends and family.
We’re bringing a touch of French flair to our Cornish Houses and we’d love for you to join us. We’re teaming up with Wanderlust Wine to pour glasses of Beaujolais, share a few kitchen classics and get everyone into the festive spirit.
We’ll be pouring Beaujolais Nouveau all weekend, alongside a special offer of moules marinières, fries and a 125ml glass of Beaujolais for £20, or simply a glass of Beaujolais for £5. Bottles will also be available to enjoy here or take home.
Whether you’re a wine lover or just looking for a fun way to spend the weekend, come by, pull up a chair and celebrate with us. Beaujolais Nouveau is all about fresh flavours, good times and sharing the moment. Santé!
