Junior Sous Chef

We are seeking a talented and passionate Junior Sous Chef to join our kitchen team. We are looking for someone who thrives working in a team, with a passion for cooking and keen to understand our values and ethos. The ideal person will be focused on delivering the best experience possible for our guests and is eager to learn and challenge themselves.

Our menu is centred around our charcoal grill, so experience using one would be beneficial but not essential as full menu training will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Senior Chefs in planning and directing food preparation and production activities.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to recipes, portion control, and presentation standards.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the kitchen.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist in ordering as needed.
  • Ensure that all kitchen equipment is maintained and operated safely
  • Handle any customer complaints or feedback regarding food quality or service
  • Foster a positive working environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration among staff
